This past Saturday, (12/13/14), 26 FLL teams from around northeast Minnesota met at Marshall school to compete for one of four slots in the Minnesota State Competition in the Twin Cities.  Members of FRC team 4009, DNA Robotics, are involved in mentoring a number of these Lego League teams, including team #8638 Robogeeks 5.0,  #10655 LCA Lions, #7446 School House Blocks, & #11027 Lego Madness.  Our team was also actively involved with volunteering at the FLL Regional Competition, running the soundboard, monitoring the pit area, working the concession stand, and checking in teams at the judging sign in table.

Team #7446 — School House Blocks, coached by our own Andrew Gunderson, finished first in the Lakes division in Robot performance, won the head-to-head robot tournament, and scored high enough overall to earn their first trip to the Minnesota State FLL Competition!
