2017

In 2017, DNA built a strong robot with a six wheel version of an octagonal omni- wheel drivetrain that their team had worked on for several years. They were excited to implement advanced technology with functional vision processing operation for the first time in team history.

They won awards at every competition attended in 2017: The Drive Train Award for their innovative octagonal omni- wheel design that allowed us to drive smoothly in any direction; Volunteer of the Year Award for one of our mentors continued support of the Lake Superior Regional; Creativity Award for our creative design and game strategy; and The Entrepreneurship Award for creating Duluth Robotics, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.
