2022

2022 was the first full season in two years. DNA started the season with less than half of their members having experience building a robot and going to a competition. Despite this their robot frame was completely student-welded, and all fabricated parts were designed and machined by students.

DNA finished in 13th place at the Lake Superior Regional, and were picked by the 4th alliance. With their alliance partners DNA was able to make it to the quarter-finals before being eliminated. At the Lake Superior Regional award ceremony their team won the Judges Award. The strong engineering and craftsmanship was recognized by the judges earning their team the Quality Award at the Seven-Rivers regional.

Because of their high placement in the Lake Superior Regional, they qualified for the Minnesota State High School Championship (MSHSL). Before state, their team once again made improvements to their robot, including upgrading their shooting and climbing system. DNA placed in the top third at state, and were able to achieve some of the top scores of the competition.
