Kickoff 2020

Last Saturday, the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition game was revealed during a kickoff stream viewed by our team at UMD. This year’s challenge is “INFINITE RECHARGE” powered by Star Wars. In this challenge, robots are tasked with fueling a shield generator with power cells, spinning a control panel and climbing a generator switch. Please take a minute to learn more about this year’s challenge at the link below.

After attending the UMD Kickoff event, our team headed to the Elim Lutheran Church to prepare for the upcoming build season. While at Elim, we analyzed the game manual, developed ideas for our strategy for the new game, and devised designs for this year’s robot.
