2016
In 2016, DNA competed with 63 teams where they went undefeated with a 14-0 record and won the Lake Superior Regional. This qualified the team for the FIRST Robotics World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri.
They also earned one of the most prestigious awards that FIRST can bestow, the Engineering Inspiration Award, sponsored by NASA. The award celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and paid our registration fee for the World Championship! DNA made it to the World Robotics Competition for the first time in team history and competed in the semi-final rounds of the Galileo division. They also competed in the MSHSL Competition where our team placed second!
