Gitchi Gummi Get Together

[metaslider id=4012]

This past weekend our team competed at the Gitchi Gummi Get Together.  It is an annual off season regional held at Duluth East High School for teams to practice with their robots and keep their skills sharp. We all had a great time getting together with the other teams and playing Power-Up matches with them.  We also took advantage of the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars to help us further our robotics knowledge.  During the competition we had a number of students learning to drive and operate our robot.  Our primary and secondary drive teams got a lot of experience and had tons of fun!  Our mentors also competed in the annual Mentor Match and won with an amazing total of over 500 points!

In addition, our team made a huge effort putting the field together to get ready for the competition as well as taking it down after the event.
