Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Update for the Lake Superior Competition

Greetings Sponsors,

DNA gave it their all at the Lake Superior Regional this past weekend! They exhibited many FRC values and demonstrated what their robot, μtemis, (pronounced mutemis) could do. DNA went to LSR the night before to set up the ARC field, which allows teams to test their robots and iron out any last minute kinks found on a practice field. Due to DNA’s trailer being unloaded they were able to help team 4693 that had their trailer flip over in a ditch on their way up to the competition. Fortunately, their robot was fine, and DNA was able to help replace their bumpers. DNA was also able to help other teams by giving them some custom made plates. Carter Wedin, DNA’s Programmer, went around helping other teams to fix their code and give feedback. DNA made it to the Quarter Finals on alliance 8, but were soon knocked out by the soon to be LSR winning alliance. DNA also won the Autonomous Award which “celebrates the team that has demonstrated consistent, reliable, high-performance robot operation during autonomously managed actions.”

We are very excited to continue the 2023 competition season! In order to keep up with our progress, make sure to check out our social media sites.
