Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Week Two Competition Update

Greetings,

After participating in their first week of competitions, DNA has been working diligently to prepare for the Colorado Regional in Denver. In order to make the modifications they need to be a competitive team, it was decided to build a second robot. They are building a second robot so they have a backup in case they don’t meet their deadlines before the competition.

The programming sub-team has been hard at work, completely revamping their auto library to simplify and be more efficient. They’ve been creating new, and intricate, autos to prepare for Colorado, making something called a “hoover” auto. This auto allows the robot to go to the middle of the field and shoot the notes back to its side for its alliance partners to easily pick up and shoot in.

Also, the scouting sub-team has been working to compile information on teams they will be competing with during the Colorado Regional on Blue Alliance, an app that allows teams to watch matches from previous regionals. This is important so the drive team can create strategies that work for the entire alliance.

DNA is thrilled to be continuing the 2024 competition season and to keep up with our progress, check out our social media sites!
