Build Season Week 1 Update

[metaslider id=4499 cssclass=” alignnormal”]

In the first week of build season, our team has been busy designing the robot for this year’s challenge, DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE Presented by Boeing. We prototyped a lifting mechanism and began CAD designing the robot frame. Our programming team has successfully implemented all of the brand new software on our prototyping robot. In field construction, we built one of the key elements of this year’s challenge, a habitat zone with platforms for our robot to climb on. Having this element will allow us to practice and test our climbing programs and designs. We are on schedule and excited to see our robot beginning to take shape!

Stay tuned for the following weekly updates. Thanks again for your support this year! Mark your calendars to come see us at our competition on March 8th and 9th at the DECC.
