Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Week Two Update

Greetings,

During the second week of DNA’s robotics project, significant milestones were achieved. The electrical sub-team successfully wired the robot drive base, bringing it closer to the point of being fully drivable. Simultaneously, the team’s safety captain diligently updated the safety binder, incorporating the latest information from the 2024 FRC safety manual, emergency procedures, and an up-to-date emergency contact list.

In terms of project planning, the build sub-teams have set an ambitious goal to complete the full prototype construction by February 3. This strategic timeline aims to facilitate testing on the ARC (Arrowhead Robotics Coalition) Field, a mobile practice field shared among neighboring FRC teams. The field is scheduled to be set up in Hermantown on February 10.

Many student alumni came in this past week to check on the team, offer advice, and answer any questions team members had.

We are very excited to be continuing the 2024 build season! To keep up with our progress, check out our social media sites.
