Build Season Week 4 Update

[metaslider id=6735 cssclass=””]

This week we reached big milestones in the construction of our robot. Our frame is now completely welded!  Students have been hard at work grinding the welds smooth. We have fabricated our climbing elements and begun preparing the top of our robot by cutting and milling pieces. The programming sub-team has finished coding the turret and is putting the finishing touches on our intake. We have finished 3D printing pulleys for power cell storage and a cover for the turret encoder.

If you would like to help us reach this year’s budget, please come to Chipotle at the Miller Hill Mall today, February 1st from 4-8 pm and mention DNA robotics when you pay so that we will receive 33% of the profits from the purchase. Also, come see our team bagging at Cub Foods on February 9th from 10 am- 5 pm!

We are very excited to be in the 2020 build season! In order to keep up with our progress, make sure to check out our social media sites and stay tuned for the following weekly updates.
