Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Update for Week Three

Greetings,

During DNA’s third week of build season, the team has been working hard to finish prototyping our robot. Our sub-build teams have begun to mount motors onto the shooter, started cutting the aluminum pieces for our robot frame, and finished the climbing arm prototype. Our field build team finished the climbing hangar and the lower hub field elements. The programmers began to code the climbing arm to automatically stop at the 16” frame extension limit instead of having to control it manually. Electrical got the encoders started and wired together the electrical board. The CAD team has been very busy this past week and has finished the frame and cut list, and began working on the arm and shooter. Business team has also been working on writing grants and continuing to put together the chairman’s presentation.

We have a Chipotle Fundraiser happening February 2nd from 5pm – 9pm at the Miller Trunk Highway Chipotle. You can also order online with the code Q9WEX3L to support our team.

Stay tuned for the following weekly updates.  Please let us know if you prefer to be removed from these emails or if there are other people in your organization that we should include to receive these updates.
