ICC Scrimmage

Last Sunday our team went to the Itasca Community College for their yearly scrimmage. Along with ten other teams, DNA was able to practice driving on a field before competition next week. Unlike many other sports, the field changes every year and the majority of FIRST teams do not have access to a field. With the creation of the ARC, Northern Minnesotan teams are able to gain driving practice and work out kinks before competitions. Our robot performed very well and won seven of the eight matches we participated in. After most of last year’s drivers left, this was a perfect opportunity to train new drivers in a relaxed environment. Once the scrimmage wrapped up, our team helped pick up the field before heading home. Thanks again to Itasca for hosting the field and to the ARC for making this opportunity possible.
