On behalf of DNA team 4009, this is the first of our weekly updates to keep our supporters apprised of our season progress. In the first week of build season, our team has been busy designing the robot for this year’s challenge, RAPID REACT Presented by the Boeing Company.
During the first week of build season, our build sub-team has been working hard to complete prototypes. These prototypes include ball manipulation and how we will tackle climbing the hanger. The Computer Aided Design (CAD) sub-team completely designed our drivetrain and is working closely with the build sub-team to design our climber. The Programming sub-team has been busy testing their ideas for the drivetrain on our practice robot. They are also working tirelessly on writing code for the other concepts of our robot. The Business sub-team has been working hard on writing Chairman’s and fundraising.
Stay tuned for the following weekly updates. Please let us know if you prefer to be removed from these emails or if there are other people in your organization that we should include to receive these updates.
