Week Two Update

Week two of our build season has been eventful and productive. Our game design team has been working hard to finalize the theme and storyline for the FIRST Robotics Game Design Challenge. Along with working on a theme, team members started working on how to create field pieces so they are both easily transportable and buildable. The programming sub-team discussed the benefits of using joysticks versus a keyboard when programming a robot and how we can use that to our advantage when it comes to the Skills Challenge.

The awards sub-team has continued to make significant progress on the FIRST Chairman’s Award and has surpassed their weekly Chairman’s goals. This week we formed presentation sub-teams in order to tackle the various virtual presentations that we will have to prepare. DNA hopes to keep up this progress as they continue work on the Game Design and Skills Challenges.
