Kickoff & Week 1!
1 week ago, the 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition game was revealed to be Stronghold! Denfeld Nation Automation attended kickoff at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and has been working hard ever since to complete a robot design.
Robots must cross a wide variety of opposing defenses, fling ‘boulders’ into both high and low goals, and scale a 6’4″ tower at the end of the match. This year brings back bumpers to the robot as well, as teams will likely be colliding into each other and field elements while competing.
