Build Season Week 5 Update

[metaslider id=6806 cssclass=””]

This week we have accomplished major milestones in the construction of our robot! Our robot drove for the first time after we mounted motors and completed the programming for the drive train. The programming subteam has also finished coding the main functions of the teleoperation system and have begun working on autonomous code. The build team is finishing the construction of our turret and storage system. The CAD subteam has been working on 3D printing wheels and a new camera holder.
The business subteam has also had a very busy week! Our team demonstrated at Denfeld’s Eighth Grade Orientation to generate excitement about robotics for a new wave of students. We also exhibited an old robot in Denfeld’s Intro to Snow Week assembly, where our robot had the honor of introducing this year’s athletic court. Business team also completed and turned in our Chairman’s submission this week.

We are very excited to be in the 2020 build season! In order to keep up with our progress, make sure to check out our social media sites and stay tuned for the following weekly updates.
