Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Colorado Competition Update

Greetings,

DNA finished their FRC 2024 competition season by going to Denver Colorado, where they competed against 48 other teams, including two teams from Minnesota, 5690 Subzero from Esko, and 5232 Talons from Hermantown. They finished 13 out of the 49 competing teams and were the first pick of Alliance 7. They teamed up with FRC Team 4293 Komodo, the Alliance 7 team captain, and 5690 Subzero. They made it to the semifinals, with their alliance ranking third.

For those that do not know, at the end of the qualification matches the top 8 teams pick two other teams in a draft-like system to be a part of their alliance for the playoff matches that follow. Then those teams compete in a double-elimination tournament. The DNA Safety Captain, Sarah Shaffer, also won the Safety All-Star Award, winning it at both of DNA’s regionals and setting a good example of safety.

Our yearly silent auction is fast approaching on April 12 from 5-8 pm at Denfeld High School in the commons. Check out our social media sites to keep up with us and our progress!
