Denfeld Nation Automation (DNA) Week Five Update

Greetings,

DNA’s fifth week of build season was full of progress and testing. The ARC Field was set up in the Hermantown Middle School on Saturday and Sunday. Allowing the team to travel to Hermantown and practice on a field with fellow FRC teams, getting some much-needed practice. FRC teams, 4009 DNA, 5690 Subzero robotics, 3267 Mariner robotics, 4230 Topperbots, and hosting the ARC field, 5232 Talons, worked hard setting up the field so they could practice the entire day on Saturday and most of Sunday. The ARC Field has been in many press releases but that’s to highlight its importance, it allows many teams the opportunity to practice on a field before they first compete, something that can change the outcome of an entire competition.

On Sunday the programmers started testing their autonomous code, the autonomous part of the match comprises the first fifteen seconds where robots are operating with no input from the drivers. The programmers have been working hard to create multiple different autonomous programs, allowing more opportunities to score higher point totals while also working with their fellow alliance partners.

We are very excited to be continuing the 2024 build season! To keep up with our progress, check out our social media sites.
